Arcanum Location Server

The Arcanum Location Server is based upon our industry leading mediation platform. It has been developed to provide information to clients who provide 'location based' services.

The Arcanum Location Server provides functionality to derive location from a mobile handset or other device. It includes:

• longitude and latitude
• anonymity rules
• configuration of data
• interface for specific applications such as Cellular Floating vehicle data (CFVD™)
• third party ‘generic’ interfaces for ‘location’ service providers.

The location server utilises call data, which is derived from the network. We extract this data from a number of sources, using non-intrusive probes, OEM interfaces and switch or other access points.

We are able to use the data such as 'handover', 'timing' and XY co-ordinates, for applications such as road traffic movement, we combine 'cell maps' and other GIS data as required, and provide depersonalisation to comply with Data Protection and Privacy legislation.

We can deliver cost effective availability and delivery of data to many of the ‘Location Based’ applications or services that do not currently incorporate this facility.
