Location Aware Applications

Arcanum delivers a range of location-aware applications that can be deployed as valuable, revenue generating services in operator networks.

In addition to providing individual location and positioning, Arcanum provides the means to collect detailed real-time and historical data that can enrich mobile marketing and advertising applications.

Our location server provides the basis upon which we deliver data for numerous Location Based Services such as Road Traffic Information. This is an integral component for our applications where location and especially movement of Mobile phones is required.

The location server provides the functionality to derive location from a mobile handset or other device. It includes:

• long and lat
• anonymity rules
• configuration of data
• interface for specific applications such as CFVD
• 3rd party ‘generic’ interface for Network Operators.

With Arcanum, mobile network operators can develop relationships with third parties to process and realise the value of mobile location data. A key difference is that, unlike individual location applications, this data can be collected at scale and without additional network overhead, reducing its cost and creating new business opportunities and partnerships.
